CHECK THE FIT BEFORE YOU START

A secure clip. A clear path for air.

Try the fan with the clothing and equipment you actually use. Recheck the fit after sitting, bending or carrying equipment.

Check the attachment and keep both the intake and outlet clear.
01

Attach to a stable edge

Use a firm waistband or belt that holds the clip securely. Check that the fan does not swing, slip or press against your equipment.

02

Keep airflow unobstructed

Position the outlet upward for waist-level airflow. Keep the intake exposed and avoid tightly folded clothing over the outlet.

03

Check your usual movements

Walk, bend and sit before starting. The fan must not interfere with a seat belt, tools, protective equipment or moving machinery.

WF04 CONTACT COOLING

The ice plate is a separate way to cool.

It provides targeted cooling when placed against the skin; it does not turn the airflow into refrigerated air. The fan must be running at Speed 1 or 2, and the ice plate automatically switches off after 10 minutes. Follow the product instructions for use.

DIFFERENT TASKS. DIFFERENT FIT CHECKS.

Match the setup to your workday.

Your task, clothing and equipment determine whether a waist fan fits. Choose by those needs, rather than by a job title alone.

BEFORE YOU USE IT

Personal airflow,
with practical limits.

Use a waist fan only when your task, site rules and required protective equipment allow it. It provides personal airflow; it is not a substitute for your workplace’s heat precautions, water, shade or rest breaks.

Do not assume either model is waterproof or dustproof. Check the product instructions and stated protection ratings before exposure to rain, splashes or dust.

QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

Get the details
before your shift.

Answers about model choice, runtime and wearing a waist fan at work.

Should I choose WF01 or WF04 for outdoor work?

Choose WF01 if its lower price and published runtime at all four speeds help you plan your use. Choose WF04 if lower weight, contact cooling and flexible placement matter more. Check that either model fits your task and workwear. Compare both models in detail.

How long can each fan run?

WF01 lists 28, 21, 12.5 and 7.5 hours at Speeds 1–4. WF04 lists up to 34 hours with the fan only at its lowest speed. That figure does not describe ice-plate operation or maximum-speed use. Actual runtime varies with settings and conditions.

Does the WF04 ice plate cool the air?

The ice plate provides direct-contact cooling against the skin. It requires the fan to run at Speed 1 or 2 and turns off automatically after 10 minutes. It does not refrigerate the airflow.

Can I wear a waist fan under work clothing?

Only if the clip remains secure, the intake and outlet stay clear, and your clothing and required equipment remain correctly fitted. Test walking, bending and sitting before use. Tight or folded fabric can obstruct airflow.

Can I use it in rain or dusty conditions?

Do not assume outdoor use means waterproof or dustproof. Check the stated protection rating and product instructions. Keep the fan and charging port protected from rain, splashes and conditions not covered by those instructions.

What should I check around tools, vehicles or PPE?

The fan must not obstruct protective equipment, a seat belt, vehicle controls or movement, or come into contact with tools and moving parts. Follow site rules. Reposition it only when safely stopped.
