Before you pack

Three Checks Before Your Trip

Plan for the way you will use the fan, not just the largest battery figure.

Plan your runtime

Higher speeds and lights use more power. Allow a reserve and check the runtime for your chosen settings.

Check the placement

Use a stable surface or secure attachment. Keep tent fabric, bedding and other items away from the inlet and grille.

Match the charging input

Check voltage, current and cable requirements. H6 lists 12V/1.5A; a Type-C connector alone does not confirm power-bank compatibility.

Outdoor Fan Questions

Plan for Better Airflow Outdoors

Quick answers for tents, campsites and days away from a wall outlet.

How much runtime do I need for overnight camping?

Plan for the hours you expect to use the fan at your chosen speed. H12 publishes 9–31 hours by speed; H9 publishes up to 9 hours at the lowest speed with its light off. Lights and higher speeds reduce runtime. Allow a reserve instead of assuming the maximum figure applies all night.

Which fan should I choose for a tent or campsite?

Choose H12 if you want a stand and LED light, H6 for adjustable desktop or floor placement, or H9 if a secure clip or hanging position fits your space. Keep fabric and bedding clear of the fan.

Can I attach the H9 to my tent?

Its clamp range is 1–4cm. Use a suitable firm edge and check that the attachment is secure. Do not rely on loose tent fabric to support the clip. For hanging use, check the support point before switching on.

Can I recharge these fans with a power bank?

Check the fan and power bank specifications. H9 lists DC 5V/2A; H6 lists 12V/1.5A. H12 uses a USB-A to Type-C charging cable; confirm its input requirements in the instructions. Matching the connector alone is not enough.

Can I use a fan and its light together?

H12 and H9 have built-in LED lights. Using lighting alongside airflow consumes additional battery power, so allow for shorter runtime when planning evening use.

Are these outdoor fans waterproof?

Do not assume outdoor use means waterproof. Check the model’s stated rating and instructions. Keep the fan, charging port and cables protected from rain and splashes.
